Confused?

One of my favorite scriptures is 1-Corinthians 14:33 (KJV).

Actually, it’s the first part of the verse that reads: “For God is not the author of confusion….”

I take comfort in this because when I am in a state of confusion over what has happened to me or about where I’m going, that’s when this verse pops into my heart and reminds me that confusion comes about when I’m outside of God’s will.

God may not be the author the confusion but He will use it to remind us to slow down and pause. Then another scripture verse occurs to me from Psalm 40:10 which says “Be still, and know that I am God…”

That’s why God is often called the God of now. Relax and trust He’s watching over you!
